While leveling, try to make use of the new Battle of Azeroth experience gem, Insightful Rubellite, which gives you +5% experience. Equipping one of these requires a socket in your gear, so try to hold on to a piece of Legion gear with a socket or acquire one of the Legion Legendary rings since every class has one. Each of the rings includes a socket. You can acquire one of these rings rather easily by doing World Quests in Legion zones and acquiring 1,000 Wakening Essences that can be used to purchase a legendary ring in the Legion version of Dalaran.
I make the Sinister Combatant's Intuitive Staff (https://www.wowhead.com/spell=282343/sinister-combatants-intuitive-staff) for 20,000g and the materials are 13,000g or less. This makes a single expulsom worth 7,000g, plus or minus a few hundred due to the staff's deposit, AH cut, returns, and variance in materials. It still remains well above 5,000g and I think some people buy and resell my staves because the secondary stats matter.
Before anyone asks - yes there are archived copies of old addon versions both on our github repository and on several of the addon sites we use, and these will continue to be available after Cataclysm comes out, so you'll be able to get those old files if you really want them. I'm not going to bother making these more easily accessible unless you give me a very good reason. "I'm on a private server and I need them since we didn't upgrade to Cataclysm" is a BAD reason - and it's illegal.
The recruit also grants the recruiter levels, with the latter gaining one level for every two levels the recruit gains. There are a lot of rules and restrictions to that, however. It all basically boils down to leveling alternate characters together. The recruiter can even earn epic mounts and battle pets if you stick with the game for a couple months.
Some quests in my guide are marked as "SKIP" and colored in red. These quests are simply either too hard to solo or not worth the XP/time and are skipped. My guide will only list SKIPPED quests if the quest is a direct follow up after completing a quest, not one that you have to click the NPC again to get it. If you hover over the skipped quests, it will give info on why it is skipped in the guide (unless that info is already listed directly in the guide text).
In addition, you'll want to pick up leg and shoulder enchants and have them in your bags. These enchants have a level requirement of 80/85, but can't be placed on items above iLVL 136. You can get around this by having a level 85-100 character apply the enchant before mailing it to the character you're leveling, thus getting use of the enchants before level 85. I've personally confirmed that this works.
SSC has been known for it's abundance of pet drops, which is why this farming spot exists. It can only be done once a week by each of your characters, so make sure to hit it if you can. Generally you'll want to kill all the bosses for a chance at their rare pets. Everytime I go, I have the luck of getting one, in the video I actially got the Tideskipper to drop, and a video I done on the spot before that, I got the tainted waveling. So yeah. It's a pretty awesome spot with high rewards and also some world drops. I was able to snag a will of edward the odd as well, totalling a nasty 35,000g. The most important part is that you kill the bosses, the pet drops do sell, and they are very easy to get. Well worth the time invested.
If you are just coming out of Level 110, you will probably have a number of different Legendary items to choose from. Your Legendaries' special effects will stop working at Level 116, but until then they can be a very powerful addition to help you level up quickly. These are our Legendary recommendations for leveling as a Arcane Mage in Battle for Azeroth:
Players’ relationships with the NPCs around them have been hit-and-miss over the years. One of the original issues with Thrall, the Horde’s original Warchief, is that players began to refer to him as “green Jesus,” because of how infinitely powerful and infallible he was. But he’s been gone since the Warlord of Draenor expansion, and with the death of Varian Wrynn and Vol’Jin at the start of Legion, the old guard hasn’t been there to guide players the same way as it used to be.
It surprises me how this farm was not made public until Legion. It literally slipped through our sights all throughout WOD, where admittedly it would of been a GREAT replacement for the infinite embersilk spot that was quickly nerfed. Anyway, this volatile fire spot takes place in twilight highlands in the humboldt conflagration area – which is a small fire bed with about 20-30 elementals roaming around. Each time you kill you have a chance to recieve volatile fire which is worth 50 – 100g per drop. However, according to my test, the volatile fire has a higher drop chance than the volatile water. I believe this has to do with the popularity of the volatile water farm in WOD, it's popularity may have of gotten it stealth nerfed. Sad to say, but this spot is slightly better in my opinion. REMEMBER to use a potion of treasure finding.
Disable alpha versions in your Curse client if you do not want multiple updates per day. Make sure you check main download preference as well as DBM's individual download preference. You could have primary method set to release and dbm still set to alpha. Right click on DBM itself in curse client addon list and set it to release/beta to avoid the daily updates.
World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is the seventh expansion for World of Warcraft revealed at BlizzCon 2017 and announced for release on August 14, 2018. The Alliance, led by King Anduin and Genn Greymane, attacked Lordaeron, Warchief Sylvanas' base at Undercity, in response to the Horde burning down Teldrassil. The factions are at war. Between the Alliance-controlled Eastern Kingdoms and the Horde-controlled Kalimdor is the Great Sea. It is in this Sea that a majority of the expansion will take place.
Always post a buyout price on your auctions. Don't think that "They'll just bid it up anyway." Many players will not bid on an auction with no buyout price unless the item's bid price is heavily discounted to begin with. This can lead to bidding wars, but in many cases the item will sell for a fraction of what you could have gotten if you had posted a buyout price in the first place. You will have more sales at a higher price and get your money more quickly if you post a proper buyout price.
The Broken Isles are unique among WoW continents in that you can progress through zones in any order you want. Once you have made it through the initial quests in Legion, you are free to move about four of the new zones — Val’sharah, Azsuna, Stormheim, and Highmountain — as you wish, with enemies, quests, and rewards scaling to your level. The fifth zone, Suramar, is mostly locked away until you’ve reached a certain point in the story.
I joined twitch in 2013 with the gamer name of FuriousPaul and I streamed speedruns of the classic Castlevania games from 2013 - 2017. Lately my streams have died down quite a bit due to working on Classic WoW leveling guides every day. Although I may come on occasionally and play a random game for fun on my Twitch stream. I talk a lot about WoW speedrunning on my channel, so feel free to follow and hang out to discuss vanilla WoW if you like. Classic WoW will be my main focus for a long time. Unfortunately I will have to wait until Classic WoW comes out before I start streaming it.
The idea of the expansion came up after the heroes of Azeroth dealt with so much external threats like the Burning Legion. In their own words, "so when we talk about what's the biggest threat in this world, is it the titan or is it the dwarf paladin that put a hammer in that titan's head"? As such, the enemy (at least during the early parts of the scenario) will be the opposite faction, a "vast army of world-destroying forces".
Legion's game design set up BFA to feel bad when weapons were made to be removed but player were not to retain their benefits in some way. BFA will set up the next expansion in the same way with the removal the azerite necklace leaving the next expansion in a similar place where classes will feel empty and no actual amount of character progression has occurred over the next two years.

This forum is here to provide you with a friendly environment where you can ask questions and receive helpful information from experienced players and learn more about the adventures that await you! Community forums work best when participants treat their fellow posters with respect and courtesy, so we ask that you take the time to read through the forum Code of Conduct (http://us.battle.net/en/community/conduct) and guidelines (http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/15252595157) before posting. Important Reminders: Search The search function at the top of the World of Warcraft community site is extremely effective and robust. Before you create a new forum topic, please be use it to search for similar topics, blog posts, or web pages that may contain the answer for which you are looking. Making a new thread on an existing subject can result in your thread being deleted or, if you continue to re-post the same content, the loss of your forum privileges for spamming. Rating The forum rating system can be used to promote positive discussion, demote unhelpful comments, and even report posts that violate the forum Code of Conduct. By hovering over a post you'll be presented with several options, including a "thumbs up" (Like) and a "thumbs down" (Dislike) icon. Clicking the "thumbs up" icon will rate the post up. If enough people like a post, it will gain a Highly Rated status and appear at the top of related search results. Highly Rated posts will also have a highlighted background. Clicking the "thumbs down" icon will expand a drop-down menu which will include "Dislike," "Trolling, "Spam" and "Report" options. "Dislike" will rate the post down. If enough people dislike a post, it will be darkened, and with a lot of dislikes it will be hidden completely. You can also quickly report a post as trolling or spam, or use the report function to fill out a more comprehensive description of a violation. Please note that you can only rate each post once. Guidelines In addition to the forum Code of Conduct (http://us.battle.net/en-us/community/conduct), here are some common courtesy guidelines to follow. While these do technically fall within the bounds of the Code of Conduct, these cover more specific examples of common errors that will lead to thread deletions or posting privileges being revoked. You should try and quest efficiently - pulling several mobs if you can handle it, using your burst cooldowns while questing to kill everything faster. Many people would think that a 10-minute cooldown like Bloodlust is useless in open world, but you can do a "kill-15-mobs" quest in like 30 seconds if you pull a lot and use it. A free quest every 10 minutes is not that bad.
Chilled to the Bone, Dampened Magic, Kleptomania, Netherwind Armor, Prismatic Cloak, and Temporal Shield have limited use in PvE content in terms of increasing your damage in the open world, but they can be situationally useful. Notably Temporal Shield can be utilized for, functionally, an extra 6 seconds of combat time against large elite mobs.
Similarly, when earning by volume, do not overload the AH with your items. Basic supply and demand: too much supply will make your wares too common and unwanted. Furthermore, with great demand and a cheaper price, you may end up starting a price war with your competitors, with them actively trying to undercut and outdo you. Moderate the amount of items you're selling on the AH to small batches, refilling them only when sold out.
Mag'har orc - "For untold generations, the orc clans of Draenor battled one another in endless war. But when Gul'dan offered them the blood of his demonic masters, the disparate tribes of Mag'har—the orcish word for "uncorrupted"—refused the dark bargain and banded together to drive out the Burning Legion. United under the leadership of Grommash Hellscream, the Mag'har pledged to one day repay Azeroth's heroes for aiding their cause. As war against the Alliance intensifies, the Horde must call upon the might of the Mag'har to seize victory."
Nov 9 Maximizing Movement Speed in 8.0 So I find it difficult to find solid sources of current content ways of maximizing movement speed on a character. I'm hoping some of you can help me figure it out. In a way to maximize movement, I don't know if Blizzard has a hard or soft cap on movement speed for a character. I want to use a 110 since it would be reliable in farming most older content and materials. Sephuz Secret = 3% Passive w/ 15% whenever you use a CC effect. Viridium gems = 3% movement speed boost, but can they stack? Longstrider = A 110 still has access to limited azerite gear so you can get another 3% here I'm guessing with scaling helping you get that secondary bonus easier. Using the Leather Legendary BoE boots you get 5% movement speed per enemy killed for 1 minute. Stacking up to 5 times you can get 25% there. What else can you use? That's 34% movement passive by the looks of it. According to the toon you use that can go up and down according to character. Maybe some of the experts on the topic can help break down how to maximize speed.Jaszunn0 Nov 9
War mode is essentially a toggle that allows players to switch PvP mode on or off at will, regardless of what kind of server they are located on. Players who complete quests with War Mode turned on will reap additional rewards. Players will also have additional PvP talents that are only active during War Mode. With no flying in Battle for Azeroth until next year most likely, this could make running into a player of the opposite faction exciting and nerve-wracking again.
Inscription is a very strong gold making profession. It utilises herbs and turn them into pigments for inks. The main outputs are glyphs that give cosmetic effects for your character. You can also craft trinkets that are upgradable with obliterum and Tome of The Tranquil Mind. As with Jewelcrafting you can make gold just by milling herbs. The glyphs are generally profitable, even though competition is usually high. The Darkmoon Deck trinkets have been amazing and so can Tome of the Tranquil Mind be.
This farm almost did not make this list. Even though I have had only a little luck with it, it seems to be gathering some popularity in the gold farming community. Although I feel with the recent changes in 7.3, this farm is very close to dying out. Generally what you want to to do is pull every mob you can as you venture to the last boss in the instance. The only saving grace of this farm (if you can call it that) is that some mobs are GUARANTEED to drop greens. Guaranteed. Whether or not they drop profitable greens is a different question, however it's a must-mention quirk you get from running this instance. It also allows you to get your hands on some rare low level blues.
World of Warcraft offers a lot of ways to make money (gold). There is no one "right" way to make money, although there are some definite wrong ways! Some people like to play the Auction House, some people do their daily quests, some people tend to farm, etc. Many characters do a combination of all three of these along with other activities. Below is a compendium of money-making methods.
To achieve reliably 200% success rate, you need 1 champion equipped with Vial of Ofuscation (counter stealth missions), and the others can equip the +10% increased success rate per troop (some champions, like Falstad/Rexxar already have this passive and will stack). You want to counter the cursed status (success rate wont go over 100%) but you can skip increased time and additional costs affixes since they dont really contribute to success rate. Overall I would say that you need 1 Vial, 3 10% per troop Horns and either one 10% increased chance or one reduced duration item (it counters first strike missions). Using this setup, you will raise dramaticly your success rate which in turn will give you more rewards, but you will burn War Resources since you want to send troops to raise the success rate and we dont counter the increased costs affix most of the time. Its hard to evaluate how many missions you need in order to make-up the costs of the champion equipment, but in the long term is going to be worth.

This spot actually kicks BOOTAY. And I only say that because it's so hidden, unique and quirky that I had to add it to this list, despite it being a method rather than a farm. Generally what you want to do is some sneaky arbitrage. We'll be buying the items Royal olive, Dalapeno Pepper, River onion, and Muskenbutter from the vendor for 2g – and reselling them to the AH for 4g+. This is an awesome way to take advantage of players laziness and the demanding reagent requirements for some of the higher end recipes. By selling from the vendor to AH, you can make easy gold – in fact I suspect most cooks do not know these reagents can be purchased from NPC's.
If i start on a new realms, I am farming a lot of transmog from classic and Burning Crusade Dungeons and Raids. In the beginning, i start to post them if they have at least a DBRegionMarketAvg (Average value of an item on all EU realms of the last 14 days) of 500 Gold. All the other items get vendored. The time you hit a stock of 1000 Items, my value treshold raises to around 2.500 Gold. All the items below that value get vendored aswell. Newly farmed items that are above these treshold will be listed. Why? If I start over somewhere, I want to get a certain amount of gold quickly. Cheap items are great for that. Later on, to save time, Quality is better than quantity. As mentioned above, re-posting the items on the auction house takes quite a bit of time. At this point, I can recommend you the TradeSkillMaster AddOn, it makes your auction house work really a hell of a lot easier.
